Brigitte Goguen of Pacific Station Notaries is a member of the Society of Notary Publics of BC. She was commissioned as a notary in 2023 after having completed her Master’s degree in Applied Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University. Previously, Brigitte earned a BA in History and Sociology from the University of Toronto in 2003 and her first Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2008.
Meet Brigitte Goguen, Owner of Pacific Station Notaries
Prior to becoming a Notary Public, Brigitte enjoyed a long career in law enforcement with the RCMP. During this time she was posted to multiple locations holding a variety of policing roles in BC such as community policing, media relations, and general duty supervisor. Brigitte has lived in the Nanaimo area since 2011 where she has been an active community member. Originally from New Brunswick, she is one of the only fluent French-speaking notaries in BC. In her notary practice, Brigitte strives to apply her robust legal knowledge utilizing a client-centred approach that offers a sense of ease during some of life’s most exciting and challenging moments.
